As used in this policy, “personal information” means information that would allow a party to identify you such as, for example, your name, address or location, telephone number or email address.
The Office may collect personal information when you provide your personal information, such as by sending an email inquiry through the Contact page, or when you contact the Office directly using the phone or address information provided through the Website.
By using the Website, notwithstanding the collection of certain personal information, you agree that Hecht Law PC will not represent you as counsel until such time as an engagement letter on mutually acceptable terms is entered into between you and Hecht Law PC.
The Office uses the personal information you provide to it when you send an email inquiry through the Contact page, or when you contact the Office directly using the phone or address information provided through the Website, in order to determine whether the Office may be able to provide legal or other services to you.
In general, it is not the Office’s practice to disclose personal information obtained through the Website with third parties. The Office may share such personal information in two instances:

Non Personal Browsing Information. When you use the Website, the Office's servers (which are hosted by a third party service provider) may collect information indirectly and automatically (through, for example, the use of your “IP address”) about your activities while visiting the Website and information about the browser you are using.
No Linking. The Office does not intentionally link browsing information or information from server logs to the personal information you submit. The Office uses this information for internal purposes only, such as to help understand how the Website is being used, to improve the Website and the features it provides, and for systems administration purposes. The Office may use a third party analytics provider to help collect and analyze non personal browsing information through operation of the Website for those same purposes.
The Website is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the Website from Latin America, Asia, the European Union or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use and disclosure that differ from United States laws, please note that you are transferring your personal data to the United States which does not have the same data protection laws as the EU and other regions.
